CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is committed to cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals in the automation industry. We offer two distinct apprenticeship programs: one in Michigan, USA, and another in the United Kingdom, at one of our Arbroath, Aylesbury or Ballymena sites.
These respective programs provide valuable on-the-job training from our experienced team of employees. In the USA, our program focuses on Machine Tool, Electrical, and Machining, while the UK program emphasizes Automation Technician skills, including electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic assembly.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
At CONVERGIX Automation Solutions, our long-standing success is rooted in our commitment to training generations of young professionals. We are dedicated to educating and passing on our expertise to the next generation. Our apprenticeship program in Michigan, USA, is highly appealing to those eager to learn Machine Tool, Electrical, and Machining skills. This 4-year program offers innovative training and the chance to master advanced manufacturing of special machines. Our apprenticeships begin classes in the summer with full-time work starting in the fall.
Apprentices/Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, ten paid holidays, health plans, paid life insurance, and FSA. Additional benefits include a 401K plan, matching 401K contributions, and discretionary company contributions.
UNITED KINGDOM (UK) APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
With a CONVERGIX Automation Solutions Apprenticeship, you will learn the skills needed to become a fully qualified Automation Technician and launch your career within our growing international business. As part of a project team, you’ll receive training and inspiration from industry experts, developing expertise in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic assembly on cutting-edge automation and robotic systems for our global customers.
Our four-year programme combines on-the-job training with day-release academic study at a local college or training group, and you’ll earn a wage throughout the apprenticeship, even while studying. Apprenticeships will start in August each year.
